they arent to hard to do I got mine done at a garage for £90 then told how easy they were to do

if you grab them and shake them if they move about alot I think that will be your problem

I changed both front wishbones last weekend. took me 40 minutes to do both. and they only cost me 65 quid for the pair.

Have a search for ARB bushes in this section, as these could also be your problem

You can get them here for £20 each www.vwspares.co.uk with bushes installed. Made by Febi so I would imagine it's probably OEM but even if its not it will certainly be as good as OEM parts
