Rear suspension on 1.8T

Featured Replies

Hi!

Ok, I have a Octavia 1.8T Combi, 2001. I have an upgraded suspension, with modified Shock Absorbers and Eibach springs. The problem is, as you can guess, how to improve rear suspension from sliding into corners?

I have some solutions, but I would rather hear what some of you could say abot this. I hope that some of you have more experience in this then I do.

Thanks in advance.

Do u mean, how to stop back of car from sliding into corners?

Yes, exactly.

Rear anti roll bar kit?

go slower :P

Joel

I'd go with Ross and change the Anti-Roll bar for a thicker one. Dont know what you would call them in croatia. You will proberbly end up changing the front one as well.

2 Joel vRS : :P , fortunately we don't live in EU, so we can still drive as fast as we want on our roads :D

2 mannyo : the front one is ok for now, but I'm upgrading it with LSD at the moment, so it will be much more reliable in corners...

Just out of interest, do you have a website with bigger photos of your car?

Looks very interesting :D

Nope. But it will be soon. I can send you by email some pics.

You could add them to your gallery on Briskoda...

Ok, I will do it ASAP

I have a few pics of Toms car, until recently they were in my gallery.

I like it  Very nice colour.

I like it  Very nice colour.

Same colour as Colin D's old tractor unless I'm mistaken - even nicer in the flesh.
