It's not to bad as you get unlimited (sort of) data/wi-fi for the 1st year.

I saw that, an the PAYG tarrifs are not too bad either, but it's still a lot of money for what it is. there will probably be a queue of people waiting to buy it and get it jailbroken.

My son is looking at buying one for £150, If he gets it.....

That's about right for that kind of device.

An N95 is similarly priced. Even a simply handset is circa £200!

I have a PAYG 2G iPhone - it's cheap as chips ;)

Bought the phone for £170, faffed about with it and I now topup a mere £15 a month as I get a load of free txts and minutes included.

That's how much phones really cost.

The offline cost of the new Samsung i8510 is £499.99 with an N958gb being £449.95. Best value phone out there ATM is probably the 6300 which can be had for about £80 on PAYG
