Skoda badges

Featured Replies

Two questions.

Firstly my Skoda badges front and back are both looking shoddy. They have cracked and water has penetrated the protective layer. I could just replace them with the same but I was wondering if there is anywhere I could go that would be able to print something else (a design of my own perhaps) and then recoat them protectively so they could be refitted. All sorts of fun and imagination could be had then!

Second is there anywhere that shows how to remove and refit the badges.

Cheers

if your wanting a replacement badge you need someone who does raised resin domes.

this is basically a sticker with a resin on the top to give a thick bubbled plastic effect.

a quick search on google gave me this:

http://www.storm-graphics.co.uk/bubble_badges.htm

but you may find a sign company local to you who can do this.

as for removing the badges, they are stuck on with double sided tape so they will need prised off, you can use dental floss to cut down the back of the badge and help it seperate. also a hair dryer or heat gun will be usefull to soften up the glue.

removal just requires using more tape to apply but make sure you clean off the old stuff again.

Could replace with BMW badges for a laugh
