hi all

i have just found this site. i have only owned my y reg octavia est for a couple of months, no raeal probs.

i have had a semi auto clutch fitted, as i am disabled 7 have trouble with the clutch, so afr so good.

i do have one problem if any one can help, the heater controls dont light up when the headlights are on, should they?

if so how do i check the bulb etc

Do you have the simple heater controls (3 dials) or is it a version with climate control?

My sisters seat Leon has the same problem at the moment and apparently you can remove the middle dial and there is a bulb behind the dials which can be removed with a pair of needlenose pliers and replaced.
