My sisters just been in touch asking about the Iphone clone from Samsung. Personally I ain't heard of it, anyone got/seen one. If so what do you think.

The Omnia? I read a review and it works on WM6.2 so no where nearly as intuitive as the IPhone!

I think it's a Windows Mobile device with a Samsung skin so no idea how it will perform but i'm really not that keen on WM as a phone, always seemed a bit of a fudge to me.

Personally, I didn't like it. The standby screen was annoying as you had to drag windows all the time, the menu took ages to load and the battery life lasted for 34 mins with google maps open.

The only thing I really liked about it was google maps - it looked just like it does on the pc!!

There are some comparrison vids on you tube mate, if she wants a Windows Mobile device then a HTC Diamond would be the way to go imho.

I have see the "I" interface on an ipod touch its quite good and easy to use but I like my XDA bulk with its keyboard.

The Omnia? I like WM6 but is the Omnia robust?

Stick with the proper HTC ones, I want the TTYN3 with the slide out keyboard to replace my XDA exec

Samsung have just released the I8510. I had a play with one today and it's well nice. It's essentially a N95 8GB clone with expandable memory and a 8mp camera. It even uses S60!

Pricey but nice

We can get them Sim Free, I think they are around the £400 mark. The Boss has one, it looks smart and slim and flash.

Until you handle it for a couple of minutes then it looks covered in finger marks and manky!
