gear knob, roof bars, roof trim,

Featured Replies

im trying to remove the gearknob from my 4x4 turbo 2004. Anyone know how this thing comes off and if its easy to replace? also want to remove my roof bars and one of the blck roof trims as they are damaged. I have a salvage 4x4 which i want to strip for the parts? can any one tell me if the trim pops off and pops back on? also are the roof bars removeable and again can they be easily replaced. Also need to know if i can take my cd player out my old one and put in new one? (new one is ex police car, hence the damage and lack of cd)

any help would be great

thanks

jason

Hi.

I think that the gearknob has a crimp type connector underneath the gaitor. You will probably have to trash the crimp thing to get it off, but a jubilee clip can be used afterwards to replace.

Basically, pull up the gaitor, pull it up over the knob and it should be visible.

This all assuming that Im correct or course!!!

Cheers
