Suspension mods for an 02 VRS

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

been doing a little searching across the forum and have found some interesting posts about suspension/ handling mods. I'm basically after some advice, i want to improve the handling of my vrs, which at the moment is totally stock.

What things should i be looking at replacing? i don't want to be spending bucket loads of money, but don't mind spending a bit on mods that will make a difference. the car will only be driven on the road, so "track" handling is not really necessary.

my thoughts so far are a rear arb, some better shocks and springs. any ideas and ball park prices would be handy!!!

thanks for the help!!!:)

Get a rear whiteline ARB approx £130..reduce understear

Front dog mount bush £25(think) -

Weitec coilovers -£400

I have also fitted an neuspeed strut brace (upper)

The dogmount bush and rear anti roll bar are great and cheap mods to carry out first.

Get a rear whiteline ARB approx £130..reduce understear.

where from, cheapest i found is, £164

I got my whiteline ARB from 'Revolution' gateshead but I think you can buy direct, just do a search for whiteline on the net.
