Metalmate wheel protecion anyone?

Featured Replies

Hi to All

Anyone used Metalmate wheel protection to keep their wheels clean? Or Poorboys wheel sealant? I have been offered the Metalmate protection from the dealers. I have used Poorboys on the Fabia wheels, but the brake dust particles burnt through it on the fronts.

Any other suggestions for a really effective wheel protection system greatly appreciated.

i use 'wheel shield',,far and away the best i've ever used..a quick blast with your karcher,or wash with a sponge, and your wheels are sparkling again

Use steel wheels.

Seriously though I've never come across anything that'll protect the wheels fully. Although as my wheel sealant knowledge pretty much starts and stops at Poor Boy's then there's probably more qualified personnel around to answer...

Poorboys, I have a pot here, I used it on the Fabia and the brake dust stuck to it as though nothing was on there. Luckily, the dust seems to be quite easy to remove, but I need to get something on them for the winter.

Poorboys isn't the best and I am a big fan of CG Jetseal 109.............
