Spacers on Fabia VRS

Featured Replies

Hello all.

I have been reading quite a bit on the SEAT Cupra forums about fitting rear spacers (usually 15mm or 20mm) to the rear of the Ibiza MK4.

They say it gives the car a more aggressive stance and also helps give a more "planted" feel.

Has anyone on here fitted rear spacers to their Fabia VRS and if so:

A) Which make?

B) Which size?

c) Which type (longer wheel bolts or "bolt to hub then bolt wheel to spacer"

d) Does it improve the car's road manners?

e) Got any pics?

f) Will it cause any problems such as putting extra stress on wheel bearings?

Thanks

Joel

I had some spacers from my Ibiza Cupra TDI, on that they looked good because the back wheels were set in somewhat. However they really didnt look right on the Fabia as the rear wheels are about level with the front wheels. These were 15mm spacers btw.

The Fabia's wheels sit too far in IMO, best bet is to get some different wheels on, 17's or im running Audi wheels with a different offset

To emphasize how far they sit in (sortov)

some 15mm spacers and that would look good

and to show how they sit with 15mm spacers on all round. :)

15mm spacers look like they do the trick!

Ive got 20mm adaptors on an 8.5 wide rim.

I wont even bother posting a picture. WIDE!

I'm running 15mm up front, and 20mm at the rear.
