Skoda Vs Seat

Featured Replies

I own a mk2 fabia sport, my dad owns a fabia 3.

my family has always owned skodas, well for aslong as ive been interested/ care to remember. my dad owned a blue felicia, then a slightly newer one, then a 1.6 octavia (which became my first car), a mk2 ocy vrs, and now a fabia 3.

there were afew cars inbetween the second felicia and the octavia, however these were rather shocking...

by his own admittance the mk2 vrs was by far the best car he has ever owned. he swapped it for the new shape fabia mainly because of fuel (and perhaps the end of his 'male menopause'?). he made it clear to our local skoda dealer that he would much rather have swapped it for a fabia vrs, but lets not open up the whole new fabby vrs debate lol.

so here we are at the present day. went down to SEAT in hudds this morning and ooof! looked at some very nice cars. now as i said, weve always been loyal to skoda but our outing has really got us thinking. we were especially impressed with a leon fr550 they had in. looked very neat in black with the sports seats(far more sporty than the vrs). and for a similar price with more equipment...

i just hope that when skoda bring out their new fabia vrs it blows the market away. but right now, i can only say that they are starting to lose their niche in the market and there is no end of quality car companies out there willing and able to fill it.

just wondering if anyone else out there is starting to waver?

Does this count as another £10 for Decron?

Decron will be able to design and make the new vRS soon with all this money. :(

I did, mostly due to some shoddy or not existent responses from Skoda dealers when asked for quotes for a Octavia vRS and due to the Leon working out cheaper, better specced and some might say better looking. ;)
