Lights flashing problem when rainy day

Featured Replies

Meter lights and driving lights flashes when rainy day. I think this is also normal problem whit fabia. I have tryend find answer what is problem, but can't found. Could someone give straight answer? I think again that problem is wiring or electrical connections. Charge voltage is ok.

Thanks for help.

Do you mean just when wet or when you're using the wipers? It is not a normal problem.

Just rainy day. and air humidy is wet. Nothing to do whit wipers.

If the lights are on, do they go off and then back on? If so it suggests water is getting in or that you have corrosion which swells with high humidity. As it isn't just one light or type of light, then the problem is not a single light connector, but may be a 'big' connector or battery connector. I'd start by taking battery leads off one at a time, cleaning and refitting with a bit of vaseline inside the connector. Next look at the fusible links on top of the battery. These can loosen and corrode. Again clean, vaseline and tighten back. Let's know what you find. Best of luck.
