Another 2L TDI thread..........(service)!

Featured Replies

My car got its 2nd variable service today @ just over 34,000 miles its 1st was @ 16500 miles so slightly below expected distance however, its over 3 years old? Not sure what the going rate is but it cost me £201? Nice chaps at Slaters, renewed my brake fluid as well even though it had been done less that 10 months ago!! so never paid for that:D.

Bought a litre of Q8 longlife oil for £8.81 too. Strange as the oil for the actual service cost more per litre

One fault is the nearside mirror repeater not working and its apparently not the bulb?

Got a go of an extremely yellow Fabia2 with spoiler gear on it and a puney engine as courtesy car! Not too bad to drive but very light steering and no guts!!

your right about the steering on the fabia, scarily light, not nice to get straight into out of a vRS or any other octy for that matter

They don't half have a lot of body roll compared to the Octy, but they're fairly stable still the little fabia.
