Tyre Size

Featured Replies

Just away from my vrs at the mo and looking for the tyre size of the 17" Standard Alloys on the vrs.. Need to ring the local garage and order new tyres! What brand should i get have conti's at the mo.

Thanks Lads

The standard is 205/50/17

I think a lot of people fit 225/45/17's though as its a more common size and cheaper to get hold of

I'm in Ireland wonder would they deliver over here..? Toyo's here are axpensive. That sounds a good price!

I have Kuhmos fitted standard size these were £75.00 all in fitted. I have done 10k with them and more than happy... better than the Pirellis for grip in all conditions. I had been using.

I believe the 225x45 will be even cheaper!

Usual answers to "which tyres" questions tend to Toyo, Kumho or Goodyear.

just had 4 Kuhmos fitted in brum for £62/tire. Driven back in the wet and they seemed rather good.
