question about warranty work

Featured Replies

my front brake pads need replacing.can i get the pads done at an independent or dealers cause it's still under warranty ?.

how much would it cost ?

my car is a 1.2 56 reg

thanks

done by a independant should be fine with regards to warranty wor!!

my front breaks squeal after I've done alot of stopping and starting...

unless its a certified vag specilist I beleive skonda arn't keen on it?

I may be wrong

will be fine, wont affect warranty. new front pads is 0.5-1 hours labour, pad prices range from £6 to £60

Do them yourself and save a few quid

Who will know if you use genuine pads? Personally brakes shouldnt affect the warrenty

Brakes aren't usually warranted, except against component failure, anyway.

They won't affect anything else, except possibly antilock system either.

Brakes aren't usually warranted,

Consumables ( pads, tyres, wiper blades, bulbs, etc. aren't covered by the warranty......
