My Fabia VRS Gauge Install with Pics

Featured Replies

Been wapping some gauges in my Fabia.

Currently have Boost, Voltage, and going for an Oil Temp to complete.

Thought about the best place to put them...

Didnt want to lose the vents...

Didnt want an unsightly A piller or dash mounts..

So put them here- just a glance down to check on things, and out of view for nightime driving

What do you think?

My boost gauge peaks at 20psi when booting the car and settles at 18-19, standard map with decat and pd160.

Voltage reads 12v at ignition, 14v when the engine is running.

But whats with the untidy wire hanging down:rolleyes:

nice maybe abit too low but looking good !

Sorry thats going to the glovebox, nothing to do with gauges - its an aux for my mp3 player

You would think they are too low but when driving a quick glance is all thats needed

Not at all, Ancillary gauges have fitted in the same position by manufacturers

Hard to read when your tanking it, but look good. IMO

If anyone would like a guide on how to install a boost gauge in the Fabia I'd be happy to help :)

Good Idea... Too low for my liking though.

sweet gauges.

Here's my voltmeter, the slats had broekn end lugs on thei vent, so I didn't mind cutting it up. New vents are about £21.
