Following on from my post below about the windscreen, they are coming to repair it today. As a matter of course, they ask about the current screen incase the existing one brakes while being fixed. They asked if it has a green sunstrip, or a grey one. Now to me, it has always looked blue! What's the official colour? I'm driving a 2000 X 19. SLX Tdi.

according to the 1998 brochure I have for mine it's "windscreen sunband (green)"

Maybe it is green after all then. It's definately not grey!

grey was used from 2003 onwards apparently. Skoda decided to change part way through the year so you need to check if you have a 2003 car as it could be either.

When I had my screen changed one turned up with a green strip and I then had to wait for the right grey one to turn up, bit of a pain.
