apparently so! Fabia, 1.9tdi :) i like the drop, but don't know what it will look like with standard wheels :)

The 1.9Tdi is different from the vRS though, as vRS springs are rated to a heavier car generally.

Hi

No it is down to the vRS being lower than the 100PD one

So if the springs are 40mm lowering on the 100PD then the lowering will be 20mm

Sarah

SORRY for spoiling your rep.

Thanks for the comment

Pat on the back for you my dear

Well done

I know I had a go at the wishbone bushes,,,,, then wished I hadn`t :(

Ahh, i always thought it was because non vRS were up to 960kg, and vRS were over 960kg.

I thought springs for a vRS were rated differently, i.e. a stronger coil - as the PD130 unit is quite a bit heavier than the PD100?

So there's a bit more to it than just the overall drop?

Steve

Thats what i was thinking Steve.

I meant seeing those pics has put some doubt in my head...I was going to go for Eibachs, but the car looks great on the Konis. As for the "on standard wheels and shocks..." i also mean for me, and I don't know whats best for it!!

Sorry for confusion. your car looks grand though ;):)

Ah I understand,

There was a thread not so long ago on how low the fabia has been dropped, if you do a search im sure you will find plenty of lowered cars on standard wheels.

Cheers

I recieved a Koni disc within the box when I got the spring's so I had a nosey before I fitted them and it does specify that they are suitable for the Fabia RS, which im assuming is for the VRS.

I hope this settles some confusion that may have been caused.

Andy

As long as they're vRS specific, you won't have a problem

Well, you'll wear your standard shocks out more quickly, but you'll get that with fitting any shorter spring....

Steve

is it hard to fit these ive just bought some koni 40mm for my fabia 1.4mpi, any special tools required? any tips guys?
