It could be worse

Done on a budget, do you think?

Probably because Perodua customers are not so willing to pay for a lot of advertising that is built into the price of a new Skoda.

Perodua, sorry, my bad

Škoda

http://www.skoda.co.uk/images/system/background.jpg is just such a beautiful background image.

I have to wonder someone in Audi UK is paying off SUK's web designers to do this crap to help differentiate the brands?

It's simple and effective, especially with the silver car in foreground. I think it works ok actually. Reminds me of country club which is perhaps where they are aiming for.

Got to disagree there.

I think the background was intended to portray a luxury image. It just reminded me of old grandads clogging up the roads in their Rover 75s.

Skoda have just sent me a framed photo of that same silver car, but with a very nice 'modern architecture' background setting. It looks so much more relevant, and really associates the car with being something new and exciting. I don't see why they couldn't have used the same imagery on the website.

Hopefully, someone will wake up and see that the website needs a radical rethink.

Bagpuss.
