Vag-com problems

Hi Everyone

I'm having some trouble with my VAG-COM on my 2005 Octy 1.9 TDI Elegance. I bought the Genuine Micro-Can version all registered with Ross-Tech. I bought it to do a MFD2 Retrofit which i have done everything is fine. Since then i have made a few of the changes going around in the forum, eg STEERING WEIGHT, COMING HOME/LEAVING HOME LIGHTS, SEAT BELT BONG, ROTW ALARM, BEEP ON ALARM ON/OFF, 2 REAR FOGS, EMERGENCY BRAKE LIGHTS, all work fine one or two i wasn't so bothered about so i thought i'd change a few back. Now it won't let me change anything in, 09 CENTRAL ELECTRICS, 19 CAN GATEWAY, 46 CENTRAL CONVIENIENCE. when i try it comes up with the error message (VCDS DETECTED AN ERROR IN THE CODING YOU ENTERED PLEASE CORRECT OR ABORT) in all three sections even if i just click (DO IT) with the code that is already in i get the same error message. The car runs perfect and everything i've done works fine i've got no error codes when i do a scan. The main reason i need to get it sorted is i'm getting maxidot very soon and i'm worried it won't be able to be coded in  also i don't want that to be the end of my budding VAG-COM career because it's four and a half years until i can have a new skoda :(

Any help would be gratefully recieved Thanks Guys

Firstly you don't seem to have any fault codes which is good.

You can see what you have changed 'from and to' by looking at the coding log at \VCDS\Debug\CodingLog.txt

What are you trying to change back?

Hi Stu

I'm not really bothered about changing any thing back to be honest it's just i can't make any changes in those three channels 09, 19, 46, in the long coding but i can make changes in the adaptation. I haven't got the logs that go back far enough to when i made those changes because the trouble started at the same time 805.1 came out so i uninstalled it and went back to 805.0 thinking it was something to do with that but it was just the same so i went back to 805.1 oh how i wish i had made a copy of those logs before i uninstalled it. like i said even if i try to save whats already there it says (VSDS DETECTED AN ERROR IN THE CODING YOU ENTERED PLEASE CORRECT OR ABORT) so it seems it dosen,t like something iv'e done but why did it accept the code in the first place? thats what is puzzling me, now i can't change anything to attempt to correct it. The logs i've got just show me messing about seeing what i could and couldn't do after the problem.
