Driving down a tight lane with cars parked on my side today and the guy coming in the opposite direction decides he is going to come through anyway despite me being 3/4 of the way along. I slow to stop as there clearly isn't enough room but brainless flies past with an enevitable crunch. I move on 10 yards to park up and see that he has stopped too, I open the door to get out and he seems to think better of it and legs it.

The damage to mine was it knocked to silver cover off, cracked the glass and broke the plastic piece keeping it all together. His....was obliterated:D

He was driving a City Rover so I can safely assume it's probably written it off:rofl:

Not the end of the world until I went to the dealer WHO DON'T STOCK THESE BITS :confused::confused::mad: WTF??

Why would they not have these bits in stock?????

I now have to wait till next weekend as I am on holiday

same thing happened to me earlier this year with a Saxo! I had to order replacement bits from the dealer which all arrived within a week.

BTW, I tried to get a wing mirror for a Cityrover just to give me some satisfaction and they are £47 + vat, they take about 2 weeks and need painting

based on the Rover drivers previous display of professionalism, I would assume that he will not get the mirror replaced because lets be honest he probably cannot afford it, (based on the fact that you can buy a car better then a City Rover for about £27.80) and he will continue to be a member of the pen 15 club.
