Just found these on ebay

Front & rear shock absorbers for Skoda VRS MK II petrol on eBay, also, Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 28-Sep-08 14:17:16 BST)

Would I notice any difference from the standard ones fitted at the mo?

Car is a 2.0tdi 140 dsg.

Would car feel stiffer or lower?

All help an advice welcome.

AFAIK the vRS shock absorbers ARE uprated from those fitted to other models so YES you will feel a difference with taughter handling and, most likely, a less supple ride. There will be no difference to the ride height.

For a definitive check; perhaps someone can tell you the relative part numbers.

However; IMHO, for an upgrade Koni FSDs will be excellent giving firmer/sportier handling without any loss of ride comfort. Then again they 'cost' and if you can get these at a decent price, worth doing.

Just need to fit them now, hope its not to hard a job. May be going to my local garage.
