I'm hoping to buy a Fabia 1.9PD 100 Elegance estate, the ones im looking at are between 05-06, 10000-30000 miles. I was just wondering what are the service intervals, major/minor, when is major work due, cambelt etc. If someone could copy the page of their service book or just write it down for me it would be appreciated, just trying to get an idea of running costs while im looking at them. I tried searching but '100 service' brings up a lot of hits :confused:

10k oil changes, 20k air & fuel filters, 60k cambelt.

That'll do nicely, figured it would be the usual, just wanted to see if there was anything that needed changing apart from the cambelt, its 60k or 4 years right?

I have an '01 1.9PD 100 estate and the service intervals are 10k miles.

10k is an oil change

20k is an oil change plus inspection and pollen filter change

30k is as per 10k plus inspection

40k is as per 20k plus air and fuel filters.

The above then repeats

Cam belt is at 60k or 4 years (but ours did 80k as the guidance was recently changed)

Brake fluid at 2 years.

I have a service regime in excel as well that details rough costs based on a £56 labour rate and PD oils at £7.15/litre.

This notes the following for the basic service inlcuding parts but obviously the rates will have gone up and you may need disks and pads etc.

10k - £76 + VAT

20k - £170 + VAT

30k - £76 + VAT

40k - £208 + VAT

Cam Belt - £145

Brake Fluid - £32

That is bloody brilliant Skomaz, more than what i was asking for, but exactly what i wanted, thats cracking! Cheers! Plus i also know what to look out for know when someone says they have a FSH.

Here are the rough Costs of the services i had done on my red '04 1.9TDi Comfort estate

20k £221 (had something else done at the time)

30k £99

40k £323 (+ brake fluid changed)

50k £99

60k £526 ( + Timing belt changed)

70k £288 ( + console bushes)

Didnt get an 80k as i was trading car in.... Had disks and pads changed in between 50k and 60k services but cant remember the cost

I assume at the same time as the belt, the tensioners and water pump are also changed? At least it seems so from what ive been reading anyway.

i think so..... it was done at a main dealer.....(but i no longer have the car)
