Hello, another thread of mine planning modifications for my next purchase . The Elegance estate has 14"s (185/60/14) or optional 15"s (195/50/15).

I am looking at lowering and changing the wheels, my favourites currently are the OEM Fabia Vrs 16" Alloys, tyres i presume 205/45/16 yes?

Or the OEM Octavia Vrs 17" Spiders, what tyre size would these be? (215/40/17)?

Would i need any adapters/spacers for these scenarios? And would the tyres be the same size as above for any 16"/17" wheels of 5*100 PCD fitting? i.e Golf GTI Monza, Audi S3, Ibiza Cupra etc rip offs.

Are the tyre sizes above correct for not affecting speedo readings and gearboxes, as well as weight of the wheels. I went some way to asking this and Apogee went some way to answering in a previous thread, but i thought i would start a designated thread, answers in search are all over the place. Cheers for any help

Everythign there is correct, no spacers or anything required.
