Hi there,

does anyone know if the new fabia windscreen has a higher metal content to help control external temperature? I'm getting very strange aerial signal strength fluctuations from a glass mount mobile hands free kit.

renaults have a screen as you describe ,I had to buy external aerial (£ 49 rip off ) to enable my tom-tom to pick up a signal in a megane, my tom- tom gets a excellent signal without a aerial in my fabia so i would say the fabia has not got a heat resistant screen. Talking about heat I read recently if you import a car from Thailand it won,t have a heater, shame I always fancied a TUT-TUT.
