Further to the success of my last Group Buy HERE, and generally positive feedback (do a search ), I've decided to run this Group Buy again.

Right, I've heard back from Dr Colorchips. The current prices for the kits are $59 + $46.89 postage + customs (VAT+admin fee), so around £63.50 per kit imported individually. Dr Colorchips are offering the kits at 10% discount, but the big saving is with the postage, so the price for kits delivered to your door this time is £42 per kit. Thats a saving of over £20 a kit!

THIS is the website with all the information. This GB is for the ROADRASH kits which include:

Road Rash Kit 1 oz bottle custom OEM match paint

4oz bottle of Prefast™ blending solution

1 microfiber towel

1 Dr. ColorChip Tandem Paint Brush

2 micro brushes

1 chemical-resistant glove

Instruction sheet

The way I want to work this is:

1. Everyone PM me the Make, Model, Year, Colour Code, Colour Description, full name and address 10th October. Start doing this asap please!! Sorry for the short deadline, but it should be long enough for everyone to get their details to me.
   
2. Payment to cost the same via Paypal - if you make payment to me by Paypal please include your USERNAME as well as the details in point 1 if possible please. If you want it despatching to an address other than your registered Paypal address let me know please. Cheque or Bank Transfer also fine, but payments will need to be made before the 10th October, so they clear by the 17th October LATEST.
   
3. The order will be made with Dr Colorchips no later than 17th October. The kits should be no more than 10 days from ordering to arriving at my door. But this is obviously dependant on customs clearing them nice and quickly!
   
4. When I receive the kits they will be sent out Royal Mail 2nd Class to your door.
   
5. The timescale I will be working to is aiming for delivery to you by 31st October at the latest. But be aware timescales are a little out of my control, I will however do my best!! :flowers:

Just to confirm the GB is now closed to new people.

Right, these arrived and I've just finished labelling them up, ready to take to the post office tomorrow.

Unfortunately this will be the last GB. I've lost out on a not insignificant amount of money due to the exchange rate flopping from 1.8 to 1.57 :(

These were despatched today! Should be with you all by the end of the week.

Its the exchange rate that screwed me big time. With hindsight I should have just refunded everyone their money and abandoned the group buy, but I didn't want to let people down and thought stumping up a few quid wins over screwing my reputation.

I've totalled up everything and I'm £98.76 out of pocket :eek: There were 24 kits sold, so if people feel they wish to contribute to balancing the books, the kits ended up costing me £4.11 each. I won't think any less of anyone, and you certainly aren't obliged to pay any more. Its always a risk when setting up these GBs :(. I wouldn't have minded so much, but I didn't even order a kit for myself!!

I wouldn't dream of asking Andy.

When the exchange rate dropped like it did I had the choice to pull the GB and refund the money, or carry on and be out of pocket. I chose the latter, I'm just impressed people who participated seem happy to pay the shortfall.
