Sorry,i have to laugh at the guys name in the interview - Bill Cobble****.

Slightly off topic, but as the TDi vRS's and the TFSI cars look the same, I like to imagine the thief starting my car, hearing the tractor noise from the engine and thinking....bobbins:D

Steve

Where & How did your vRS go?

We were burgled whilst in bed and the keys taken for my Tavia and my wife's A3.

Both cars were recovered within the hour.

Trackers on both?

In Curmbria or Ches?

Trackers on neither. The police just knew where to look in Partington!

I live in Cheshire now, near to Warrington.

"Partington is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Trafford in Greater Manchester, England"

So, Manchester?...............From Cumbria in 1 hour?

What you mean? It was black... that's enough to go on surely

Poor sod with a name like that lol, school must have been fun...

I'm seriously considering installing a GPS tracker with these getting cheaper. You text a passphrase to it and it texts back it's current position. Some even do geofencing and time restraints, so that they call you if the car moves outside a certain perimeter of time interval.

It was a stolen Octavia vrs and our unmarked Octavia vrs pursuing it that was shot at. It was a shotgun cartridge, so no major damage, just a few stone chip type marks, so not bothered having it repaired!
