Hello All,

I felt compelled to join after gleaning a wealth of information to aid my car buying! - Brilliant site.

Am now the proud owner of a 1.9TDI Fabia Elegance, with a slightly strange orangey/tan interior with people running on the fabric.... salesman tried to be current and tie it in with the Olympics..... failed; I still think it's ugly, but the car goes well.

I have seen a post on the significance of the colours of the 'TDI'. I have a red D & I - apparently a PD130? Could someone be kind enough to explain this in small & simple words that I might understand as a car numpty.

:D

Cheers!

Hi, I have a Fabia Elegance 1.9 TDI Estate which I love and the heated seats are nice in winter:thumbup:. Before my current car I had a Vrs with the PD130 engine and my current car as the red DI and I can assure you it does not have the PD130:thumbdwn:.

I think VW Golf's with red DI has the extra power but I could be wrong.

Welcome :)

Welcome.

the red DI on a skoda means 100bhp on vw and seat its means 130bhp the only 130bhp fabia is the vrs

welcome to briskoda
