Electric Engine Management light has come on

Featured Replies

Noticed today that the Electronic Engine Management light has come on, does anyone have any ideas what it might be?

Not without a fault code check, could be a large number of things.

i'll take it up to our mechanic tomorrow and get him to have a look and post the result

Been doing some research and i've come up with some theories.

My battery is extremely iffy so is there any chance that that could be it.

i also found someone on here saying that the problem was caused by the a hole in a hose somewhere that cost £49 to fix (i'm not a car mechanic so that's about as technical as i get)

You could change hundreds of components based on what you read here and elsewhere and still not solve it. Without a fault code or proper diagnosis you are simply guessing.
