Trying to install my printer on my pc upstairs and it's asking me what port it's in. I haven't a clue and there's loads to choose from. How am I supposed to find out please? Thanks ppl.

Ok, it appears it's doing USB, but in the general case, describe the computer socket end of the printer cable!!

Are you using a CD which is autorunning? Or have you just plugged in the printer and Windows is now asking for drivers?
