Is it normal to hear a noise when accelerating moderatly fast/hard and then dipping the clutch to change up gears in a vrs? I only seem to hear it going from 1-2-3, sounds almost like a very light spinning/grinding noise, lasts about half a second as the clutch goes down. Its not loud, but its noticable. If i accelerate slowly and smoothly then change gear then its pretty much not noticable at all?

Gear changes are smooth, clutch doesn't seem to slip... dropped it into 6th going 30-40 and the revs nor the car moved it just struggled. Idling the engine goes very slightly quieter when dipping the clutch but not by much at all.

I recently had my dogbone and gearbox side engine mounts changed which thankfully got rid of the godamn knocking noise when changing gear. The guy said after a test drive that he could hear flywheel noise but not the knocking... but he didn't say if the flywheel noise was bad lol but i'm assuming thats what i'm hearing now.

really hoping this isn't something else that needs sorting, as this car is starting to build up a debt :(
