Transfer of number plates

Featured Replies

I want to transfer my existing S555NOB to the new car so it leaves the showroom with it on.

What is the best way of going about this?

nob

why oh why

Just get the dealer to do it, will cost you £80

I think it's rather good sssssss.....SNOB

As has been said, get the dealer to sort it, but it will delay you being able to collect your new car by about 10 days

You can go to the local DVLA office and get it put on to retention which takes about 4 days. Then to put it back onto the car takes minutes at the local DVLA office as they will give you a tax disc for the new plate there and then, you just post the old one back to them when you are done.

The V5 should appear a couple of days later.:)

I know it reads NOB lol on normal plates but I have a set that used to sit on it before the MOT became a yearly thing that has the space in the wrong place i.e. S55 5NOB hence SNOB some one told me I could not be a SNOB in a SKODA lol how wrong can they be. The laugh is on them now.

SNOB

shame its illegal to misspace the letters !!

Just as well it's not here in Northamptonshire.

One of the prefix' is KN.

So we have had KN01/51 etc to KN07/57.

This year ...not a single KN08, now I wonder why?:D

seen various others around eg. SL08 on a Range-Rover (how appropriate)

Tis a funny world....
