ouch. thats a lot of dosh for an air filter.

Keep trying them.

How did you pay? You might have some protection if you paid on a credit card.

If you get through to them I would cancel the order and give awesome a ring and get a pipercross panel filter

Did you pay by Credit card? If you can't make contact with them you can always claim it back from the CC company.

Good new. Glad you got it sorted out and weren't ripped off:thumbup:

I've never heard of the company, but the STD code is for a town a few miles from my Mum's place. You don't have a postal address to go with?

On their website it is listed as

8 Cairndhu Avenue, Helensburgh, Argyll & Bute, G84 8PP, Scotland, UK

That's a residential street. I checked here to confirm my reaction on seeing the address.

Just realised they haven't charged my credit card for some stuff I ordered on the 29th september either. Strange, because I've used them before with no problems.

Hello,

I am sorry to inform you that Need For Speed Ltd has gone into receivership

and as such your order will not be processed. This includes all orders

received on their own website (Performance Car Parts, Auto Accessories, Fast Cars.) and those received

from other websites where Need For Speed carried out 'order fulfilment'.

These include: Green Cotton Air Filters - Home Page, RGM - Body Styling and Customising by Richard Grant Mouldings,

Sparco Tuning - Welcome Page, Simoni Racing - Car Styling Parts & Accessories, E-Tech Engineering - Welcome Page - Auto Styling and Accessories, Universal and Car Specific Parts.,

Pipercross Air Filters - Welcome Page, H&R Suspension - Welcome Page and

Sebring Exhausts - The Ultimate in Stainless Steel Technology.

I am an IT support person who has been tasked to respond to all outstanding

EMails and am unable to process orders. I am unable to answer enquiries with

a vehicle technical nature. I also do not have access to any bank accounts

to make any refunds so please do not ask this of me.

I do know that all orders received in the last 2 weeks or so have not been

processed and this includes the securing of funds for those orders so no

money will have been debited from your account. If you paid by Paypal, I can

only suggest raising a money reversal procedure with Paypal to get your

money back.

For UK Customers who still want to source parts for their vehicles that Need

For Speed offered, I suggest contacting Car Parts, Performance Car Parts, Auto Accessories, Fast Cars, Wheels. who have

access to all the products that Need For Speed used to offer. I am of the

understanding that this company only ships to UK addresses.

I am sorry I cannot be of any further help in this matter.

IT Support,

Turnkey Computer Technologies Ltd

There dropping like flies, lost 5 customers ourselves this week at work.

Do I get a gold star ????

Glad you ain't been tucked up anyway.

Wildly o/t, but there's a blast from my past. I did IT at college with a Rab Butler, about 20 years ago!!

Damn I paid by paypal last week :finger:
