how benificial is it to have an uprated clutch with a remap? is it worth the money for that bit extra torque? has anyone drove a remapped furby with a standard clutch and then an upgraded clutch? do i spend the money or just go for the remap? :confused::confused:

Well it will start to slip with the extra torque but that will depend on how aggressive the map is!

You should budget for the clutch if your going for a remap but then it may last a few thousand mile before it needs doing

If it was me (What I did with my Ibiza TDi) get the remap and drive it until you need the clutch doing

yeah was thinkin that but if i get the map at the same time as the clutch then ill get more torque from the map! and more torque is good! lol

just tell them yor fitting a new clutch next week so map it hard then start saving as the clutch will go
