Problem with electric windows after reconnecting switch plugs

Featured Replies

I have four electric windows. After doing door resealing today (on all except driver's door), and disconnecting & connecting electric window switch plugs on all three doors, windows on these doors can be operated only from driver's block controls.

What to do now? It's impossible to reconnect switch plugs incorrect, I am sure.

Please help.

The block connector plugs can only fit one way so as long as they are fitted correctly the windows should still work. Unclip the armrest cover and test that you have 12v at the switch on the front passenger door. If the windows work from the drivers door switch block you know that you have a 12v feed to the window motor, so it sounds like the switch is not connected correctly. Good Luck
