will they fit?

basically im after some winter wheels and theres a guy that has 15" golf wheels for a good wee price. but he's about an hour away and i didnt want to have to drive the whiole way down to find out that they dont fit if some one on here already knows if they'll clear the calipers.

p.s picking up the car tomorrow from the bodyshop so i will update the thread (getting a facelift) whenever i pick up the car tomorrow night. may not get pics up untill tuesday as it might be too dark tomorrow but ill try anyways:D

if they are steels and you dont have 312 or bigger then it may be ok - 312s fit under the 16" steels, 15 is pushing it though.

I've tried 15's on my vRS before... they were close to the calipers but cleared. It was at that point that I realised I'd bought 15's by mistake! I'd wanted to transfer the tyres off my alloys to them!

Oh well.. I bought then for £5 and sold them for £20!
