Looks like the best place to park is the Train Station, which has a free shuttle bus to the centre.

FYI if you intend to fill up with fuel at Adinkerke, come off at the Belgium exit as 'tobacco alley' is closed for roadworks at the moment just after the Texaco garage (heading toward France)

To the best of my knowledge even the P&O captain who has just been sacked failed to get the ferry more than a few feet inland!

The Ramsgate-Oostende ferry is a 4hr crossing & not worth the hassle IMO

that is where we have always parked on the previeous trips.

Yep Train Station is a good place, and we walked into town as it is a nice brisk (oda) walk

Beware I booked today @ around 15:30, & the 08:40 dover - calais is booked full. as you can see I had to take the earlier ferry, but return time was not a bother.
