If they are new discs and new pads they should be fine from day 1 shouldn't they? That's what I was told anyway when I had new 312s and pads fitted. I thought brakes only need bedding in if you put new pads on old discs or vice versa? Having said that, I know nothing … :(

And I was always told "don't hammer the brakes until they stop dusting" (maybe 500 miles). But there is no specific need to bed in road pads these days.

Gentle braking - build the heat up, let them cool. Repeat until at least 100 miles. Then get them hot, and stand on them :)
