Two questions, The sound deadning on the bulkhead in my car seems to be getting quite damp of late, is this usual? My car is currently running with no undertray and there is quite a gap between the piece of plastic below the windscreen and the rubber seal under the bonnet. Could these be causes?

Second question, the airbox on my car (a Fabia 1.4MPi) seems to be quite loose, it moves up and down and seems to have only one screw holding it down at the front (I can't see at the back). There is a hole where it looks like a screw should be but maybe I am wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance folks,

-Duggie.

Undertray wouldn't hurt, but water in the scuttle will run into the insulation. You need that sealing strip (use a length of plastic pipe cut down the middle if you can't get the proper piece immediately).

The airbox should have two screws, but these hold the top to bottom. There are lugs on the left and screws on the right. It is rubber mounted, so the whole thing should move a bit; the supports are down by the battery and at the back.
