Under Better Circumstances

Featured Replies

Hi to all,

I joined the Briskoda family sometime ago and hoped this day would never come. I am/was the proud owner of a 2003 Fabia VRS and last week the turbo died. I have since been talking with Skoda UK and my local retailer where the car remains. The bottom line is £1200 for a new turbo which I think is digusting. The warranty ran out some time ago but having only done 70k and maintained regardless of cost, I'm disappointed to say the least and didn't plan to spend this kind of money fixing it. Surely there's an alternative - does anyone have any suggestions or can anyone point me in the right direction?

I can't help thinking Skoda are having a laugh and really hope it's not the case.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your problems. You may be better of searching or posting here :)
