Saw a Superb II Taxi!

Featured Replies

There are quite a few down here in swansea mine having 18" rs4 on it and it is candy white

I saw a Black Magic Superb II taxi in Berwick today , Scottish Borders Council Taxi Plates on it. Thats the first Taxi one I've seen.

There are quite a few here in Glasgow including mine

That's good news: I use taxis from Glasgow airport from time to time and I've been told that the drivers (many of whom were happy with their Octavias) were being forced to use those ghastly Peugeot converted vans, on the off-chance that a disabled person might use a taxi. Sure, there need to be some taxis suitable for the disabled, but not every one. If there are some new Skodas coming in, excellent.

My dads got one as a taxi, it has done 42000 miles now already, its a 170 elegance manual and the only problem so far has been a blown xenon bulb.

theres been a fleet of Superb II Taxi's round Doncaster for quite some time now

Saw a black one in Sheffield this morning behind work - had a good look as I drove past in the Octy but no Briskoda stickers...

One of my customers owns Taxi's. Superb 2004 1.9tdi, Superb 2007 2.5Tdi auto and has had a Superb 2009 now for 9 months.

She has covered 25k miles in it in only 9 months and the only fault that has blighted a perfect record was the radio started to click even when the ignition was turned off. We simply disconnected it for 30 seconds and it has been fine. She loves it and says these things just get better and better.
