Hello All, I'd just like to say that I love this site.

As a small kid I had slight obsession with skodas which was reinforced by a trip to Czechoslovakia (as it was then) of which my most resounding memory was counting 14 skodas parked in a row. I even came back with a model Favorit kit which i then painstakingly glued together.

So it's immensly fitting that I managed to inherit my 8 year old, sky blue, Felica. It may feel a little like driving a tractor at times but has never let me down (except for the time I tried to overtake a ferrari on the M69).

My only issue with my car is that the central locking will only lock the passenger door half the time. From what I can gather it has something to do with pneumatic locking, but thats as far as I've got. So I'm now off to hunt through the forums for answers.

Once again thanks for having such an awesome site and letting me be a part of it.

Form what you've said you should Czeck out the Favorit, Felicia et al and RWD Skoda tech fora, for your issues, and stuff about the older cars, and about Tatras too!
