my Octy VRS has had a forge adjustable dump valve fitted for ages, before i actually bought it and works well, all of a sudden it's stopped dumping, the engine now sounds a little muffled, still running smooth but worried there's a big problem, i'm not an under the bonnet type of guy unfortunatley and when i've looked for the dump valve i can't even see it!! any ideas and where the chuff is the dump valve!!

should be somewhere between the air intake (big box) and the turbo (exhaust side of the engine)

Get it sorted soon as if it's not recirculating the boost correctly it will be trying to travel back through the spinning turbo which isn't good for it...

It's a Mk2 vRS not a mk1

The dump valve is located at the back of the engine under the engine cover (if its forge its branded as such and will be easily viewable once the engine cover is off) as for the lack of dump i would first check the connections and make sure everything is attached correctly (nice and tight), if they are then it may be knackered and you'll need a replacement.

They work fine when you blank off the atmospheric bit and run fully recirculating. Mine does anyway.

.... so whats the point in having them then, why not just by a recirc valve in the first place.
