Decent TV speakers (not necessarily surround sound)

Featured Replies

I bought a £220 22" TV from Tesco back in the summer when the TVs were ridiculously cheap. It's a "UMC" (not branded really) model and has integrated Digital receivers and DVD players, as well as a common interface port, HDMI in port etc etc.

My one (And only) complaint with this TV is the sound quality; I think it's quite tinny.

Does anyone know if I could get a decent speaker set (not necessarily surround sound) for £80 or less, and if so have you any suggestions?

Cheers!

You could try a decent set of PC speakers plugged into the headphone socket, set the volume of the speakers quiet loud, and then use the TV volume control to turn them up/down.

I'd second that reply, from experience I'd recommend 'Logitech'.

Within that budget you'll get a surprisingly good 2.1 (stereo speakers

with a little passive sub-woofer) set up, will definately give a better,

warmer sound than the tv speakers.

I think I've still got the ones I used to use somewhere, if you really want

to get some on a budget PM me, if I have got them they'll be 'as new':)
