Yet another Seat Surgeons re-trim

Featured Replies

I visited Seat Surgeons yesterday to have my leather re-trim done as part of the current Briskoda Group Buy - http://briskoda.net/group-buys-promotions/seat-surgeons-group-buy/125432/

I went for a black standard leather (their code RG006 which has a slightly softer grain pattern than the other one they do), with perforated centres and yellow stitching to complement my Sprint Yellow Fabia vRS. I wanted to have all the centre section perforated, and was happy to accept the vRS badge being higher than standard. All four door cards were also re-trimmed as is normal practice at Seat Surgeons.

It has been said before, but I will say it again - the service from Paul and his team is excellent, from first contact through to ordering and finally fitting. The covers were supplied in less than 2 weeks from his manufacturing facility in China - on the day I dropped the car off at 8.15am, and it was ready for collection by 1.00pm.

Anyway, a picture says a lot more than words, so here are a few....

that is soooooo nice!! think i'm going to have to invest in some new stichings for my fab

That looks amazing and the yellow stitching is surprisingly nice (I was unsure when you told me you were having yellow stitching but I'm sold on that idea now!)

Can't wait 'til tuesday!

That looks really good mate!!

Ian:thumbup:

Very nice indeed.

Nicest i've seen yet. :)

can i just ask what the thing is in the lighter socket???

Very nice  I'm well impressed.

I think some Seat Surgeons leather will have to go into mine once I move to the mainland and get hold of some VRS front seats, more 'buckety' than mine

Slightly off-topic, but do these leather conversions reduce the effectiveness of heated seats? I'm doubtful but just wandering!

That does look very nice and tidy! :D

That looks great, good choice with the yellow stitching

A similar thing might well be happening to mine next year :)

looking good

what happened to the original seat covers Andy ?

that is a fantastic job, the yellow stitching goes really well!! can you have the stitching in any colour you want as i would consider having it in maybe a dark blue or red to go in my black vRS, also how much did that set you back in total??

Its an extension to a 4-way multi-socket - for work phone, personal phone, Bluetooth GPS receiver, Bluetooth headset, DVD player etc

Was really wanting to hang on to them - they are reasonably clean, and my thinking is they could go onto Katie's Fabia vRS if we ever want to sell it in the future.

I know you are after a set though - there are three or four others booked in over the next few weeks for a re-trim so maybe worth giving them a try - SS are happy to remove them with care and give them to you in the bag that the leather ones are delivered in.

SS can do pretty much anything you want with regard to patterns, leather colours and stitching.

Check out the Group Buy thread that I linked to at the top of this thread which has loads of pics of different options, together with details of their current pricing offer.

Another brilliant job , your car looks awesome!!

hmmmm nice

Welcome to the SS Leather club

(ooh! that sounds kinkier than I intended)

Looks fantastic, money well spent I feel.

Having seen this in the 'hide' - the pics dont do it justice.

Good to see you btw, Andy :)

Awesome job, as good or better than on the SE. The door trims finish it off superbly !! The Yellow stitching, great decision.

They look really nice

That looks very nice

Mine is exactly the same as that just with black stitching :D

Awesome - looks superb mate; we both knew it was a good idea from the start :D

You up at the Malt on the 13th? I'll take a proper look then

Steve

That looks a better job than the leather in our SE. ( which I'm sure is a far inferior grade of cow, as it scratches very easily )

I will endeavour to make the next malt meet, if only to laugh at your yellow car...

( only joking, it looks well.)
