Please help me out here.

I have made a right balls up of this i think.

I am trying to re-fit my old tape/radio back into fabia.

Not sure what am i doing though.

Managed to get cd player out and now stuck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

And do i remove the cage surround that the cd player slotted into?

My car is a Fabia 1.4MPi Blackline(2003), just in case.

The short answer is yes. Bend back the tabs on the CD player cage and remove it, remove the strip at the top (it just unclips), connect up the cables, and test it before slotting it all the way in.

Cheers cjb, got it sorted, just had to remove the tray compartment below it to get it out, thanks for help.
