Recently my father had to top up the power steering fluid on my mother Fabia TDi. Has anyone seen the location of this sump? It's located under the battery which ment he had to remove the lot just to access it. This is the same for my vRS.

Is there an easier way to accessing the sump or do people "ignore" this monthly check due to the hassle?

THink it's the only way to access it, went through the trauma of it all today!

It is a complete head ache just to check the levels.... :(

My battery is in the boot so it's a bit easier for me. Still quite a pain though.
