Cleaning/sealing wheels?

Featured Replies

I have a set of wheels which are going on the car this weekend and need some help as to what to use.The main problem is time so if possible i would like to use something i already have due time.

I only have a few products but i was thinking of sealing them with a wax.

Megs wheels cleaner (paste),nxt wax and i also have a few polishes.

The wheels will be cleaned first them 2 coats of wax applied.

Will this be ok for now.

Should be fine. I only up to recently was using Halfords wheel cleaner and colinite wax. Worked well enough.

I still use the colinite wax but upgraded to some bilbery cleaner recently

I've read about quite a few people using Collinite to seal wheels, so can't see why the NXT wax/paste won't do a similar job

I use Rim Wax for the wheels.

Jetseal for me, great finish and very durable.

Jetseal for me, great finish and very durable.

I have Poorboys Wheel Sealant, Rim Wax and CG Jet seal 109 and my preference in the Jet seal as it's the most durable and gives a great shine.........

There speaks the man of experience :D
