Is the main beam adjustable independantly from the dip beam??

Featured Replies

As the above title says really! I've got bi-xenons on my car and when the main beam is on there's a slightly annoying black absence of light between the top of the xenon and bottom of the halogen. I'm wondering if I can drop the main beam down a tad so that it's not so obvious?

Dealer seemed to think that because they're both in one unit, you can't adjust them independantly but I thought i'd throw it out there for you guys?

As dstev 2000 says are you sure you have Bi xenons fitted to your car? Would suggest you check and get back to us

Seeing as he/she says

.....between the top of the xenon and bottom of the halogen.

I think he/she is aware that they aren't Xenon for both beams.

When the Octy first came out in Oz the Skoda literature all said "Bi-xenon", and the dealer tried to tell me the "Bi" referred to left and right headlights  Skoda have since amended their sales gumph (I would have preferred they put true bi-xenons in).
