Air bag light on

Featured Replies

Only me again guys, i have just refit all of my interior after the water leak last weak. and the problem that i have is that the air bag light is on all the time now.:(

is this because i've had the battery disconnected and the front seats (airbag seats) out.

how do i reset the light, does it need to be pluged into vag?

will the air bags still work if the light is not reset straight away?

many thanks:thumbup:

Yes it will be as the seats have been unplugged, no the airbags wont work with the light on and yes it will have to be plugged into VAS or VAG COM to reset it.

Enough said, seemingly!

I have taken both Octavia I and Superb front seats out before (with the battery disconnected) but never had the airbag light come on after they were refitted.

Silly question, but you have checked that the airbag plugs are reconnected properly?
